A small, deciduous, slow and upright growing shrubby maple having finely dissected leaves. The leaves have a lacy appearance, light to medium green in spring and summer, turning scarlet and gold in fall. Small pendant purple flowers are produced in April. A wonderful specimen or accent plant.
