This is a highly distinctive, semi-dwarf deciduous tree whose name means "dwarf prince" in Japanese. Small, glossy green, three-lobed summer foliage turns bright yellow in the fall. Grows 3' tall by 2' wide in 10 years. A great small tree for a patio or rock garden. Bark becomes dark gray-brown and exfoliates.
