Comments: A large deciduous shrub or small tree that grows 8-15' tall and wide. Fragrant, yellow flowers, 1-1½" long, burst forth before the leaves in early April. Handsome, dark green leaves are arranged alternately, oval in shape, often taking on a pleasing yellow fall color. Use in the shrub border or as a screen.
