Comments: An evergreen tree selection discovered growing at Secrest Arboretum, Wooster, Ohio. Its habit is tall, narrow with branches twisting in a spiraling pattern. It grows 35-50' tall after many years but only about 12-15' wide. Needles are dark green above, two bands of white stomata beneath. Cones measure 4-6" long and are held upright and confined to the uppermost branches. Best used as a specimen or accent plant.
