Comments: A native evergreen or semi-evergreen broadleaf tree, usually developing multiple trunks, 15-20' tall and wide. The handsome leaves provide a beautiful contrast, being shiny dark green above and light blue-silver beneath. Stems are smooth and green with a light bloom. Flowers are creamy white, 2-3" diameter, distinctly lemon scented and occur late May to early June and are then produced sporadically throughout the summer. Clusters of bright red seed are produced in late summer.
