Comments: A deciduous small tree to large shrub, 20-40' tall with slightly smaller spread and upright ascending branches. Desirable for its beautiful orange to red fall color. Flowers are interesting for their dark red stamens, but aren't generally showy. Much esteemed for its lustrous dark green summer foliage. Old trees exhibit unusual mottled green-white and tan bark.
