Life form: Deciduous tree
Comments: A deciduous, low-branching tree forming a broad rounded crown, 30-40' tall and 20-30' wide. This tree shows high variability in growth habit, some more shrubby than tree form. Dark yellowish green leaves change to yellow or yellow-green in fall. Flowers are usually white in April to early May (some trees produce flowers of a pale rose color). Very pest resistant. Great used as a specimen with a dark background or in a partially shaded border.
