Comments: Compact, oval to rounded deciduous tree with ascending to upright branches. In an optimum location can reach 90' tall but 45-50' high and 35' wide is the norm. Leaves have a crisp, sharp, appearance, boldly elegant to 2" long with a bronzy cast. The dense form makes for a great street tree or an attractive specimen for the yard. Tolerant of a wide variety of soil conditions. Site in full sun in moist, well-drained soil. Mostly cold hardly but can be susceptible to early spring frost damage.
