Comments: A deciduous, suckering shrub growing 5' high and wide, valued for its outstanding dark green summer foliage. Tiny sulfur-yellow, tubular flowers occur June through August. Fall color is dark reddish orange and quite striking. Fruit capsules are light brown with numerous tiny seeds. A good, tough groundcover useful for slopes, easy to cultivate.
