Comments: A large, conical tree in its native habitat of China. Rarely cultivated in the United States, but specimens of 20-30' tall have been reported. Needles are ranked, medium to dark above, creamy white underneath. Cones are about 1" long. An exceptionally rare conifer. Does best in rich, moist soil and shady to partly shady sites.
