Comments: A small, deciduous shrub with a rounded, bushy habit that will grow only 3' high and wide. Branches are somewhat downy when young, becoming very glabrous with age. Small white flowers appear in April-May in small hemispherical umbels at the end of short leafy twigs. Small brown fruit capsules appear in clusters in fall and are heavily loaded with seeds. Could be used in the garden border or as a foundation planting.
