Comments: A small, suckering, deciduous tree or large shrub forming an oval-rounded crown. Can grow 20-30' high with a spread of 18-25'. White flowers appear late April or early May in 3-6" long racemes and are followed by red fruits that turn dark purple in fall. Excellent accent plant in garden or blended in with screening plants for accent. Does best in full sun in moist well-drained soil.
