Comments: This is a needled, evergreen, conifer tree species growing 30-60' tall and usually lesser in spread. It is fast growing and displays an attractive, orange and reddish, flaking bark on mature specimens. The habit is conical in youth, maturing into an opened-crowned tree with spreading branches. The twisted blue-green needles are about 2-3" in length and in bundles of two.
