Comments: An oval, round-topped, erect, and densely leafy deciduous shrub. Grows slowly to 3-8' high and 4-6' wide. Deep green leaves arrive late in spring, making this an excellent companion plant for early blooming herbaceous plants. Extremely spicy smelling white flowers bloom in July and August. Fall color is pale yellow to golden brown. A hardy plant for wet areas, shrub borders and heavy shade. Essentially pest free.
