Comments: An upright, deciduous shrub growing 15' tall and wide with a vase like habit. Flowers are bright yellow in early to mid-May. Seed pods are 1-2" beanlike pods and are ornamentally insignificant. Foliage in summer is bright green, and in most years fall color is yellowish green. Tolerant of poor soils, drought, high pH, salt and wind. Use in the shrub border or screen.
