A spreading, rounded, suckering deciduous shrub growing 3-6' tall and wide. Dark, glossy green foliage turns purple-red in fall. White flowers in May produce black fruit in late summer enjoyed by birds. Great for naturalizing, shrub border, or screen. Takes clipping well.
