.
.
Common name: Seasons of Change fullmoon maple
Family: Aceraceae (maple family)
Distribution: Species native to Japan
Hardiness: USDA Zone 5
Life form: Deciduous tree
Comments: A beautiful new deciduous tree clone, ultimately reaching 15-18' high and nearly as wide, with a moderate to vigorous growth habit. The foliage changes colors throughout the season with green and red shades. In fall, it also morphs color from yellow to orange and red. The stems on the new growth take on a purple tone, unique to this clone. Makes a nice specimen, accent or focal point.
