Comments: A small, slow-growing deciduous tree up to 30' tall and half as wide with an elegant upright oval habit. Leaves are narrow with distinctive teeth along their edges, dark green above and gray-green below. In fall the leaves often become yellowish-brown in color. Mature bark becomes dark gray and deeply furrowed. A wonderful small shade or specimen tree.
