Comments: A densely twiggy, deciduous shrubby flowering tree, 15' high with equal spread. Heavily textured dark green leaves set off the 2" wide, small four white flower bracts that can persist for several weeks. Fruits are red, pulpy berries 1-2" across. Fall color can be dark purple to orange-red. Upon maturity, the mottled gray-brown bark is very attractive. Best used as a specimen or accent plant.
