Comments: Habit is wide, vase-shaped up to 25'; often wider than high. May-blooming cherry with single 2" white blossoms. New growth is reddish bronze with mature leaves up to 8". Fall color is yellow-orange. Winter branches are coarse in appearance with obvious horizontal lenticels on dark purplish brown bark.
