Comments: A multi-stemmed, widely spreading deciduous shrub 4' tall and 7'wide, more compact than typical Burkwood types. Flower buds are pink becoming white as they open into 3-5" spicy fragrant clusters in early April. Light green summer leaves unfold slightly before the flowers. Leaves are maroon to orange in fall.
