Comments:
A small, compact shrub with evergreen to semi-evergreen properties, native to central China. Leaves are glossy dark green. Flowers in late April to early May displaying 2-3" wide rounded clusters. Fruits ripen in autumn as blue-black drupes. A tender, but lovely plant worthy of trial in protected beds. Plant in full sun to part shade in moist, well-drained soil.
