Comments: An attractive native viburnum occurring in rich, mountainous slopes. The 8-10’, open, shrub produces lacy, flat-topped clusters of flowers in late spring or early summer. These are followed by red to black fruits in late summer. Fall color is magnificent on this species turning from yellow through orange, red and maroon. Nice as a native under planting or specimen in a woodsy location.
