Comments: A dwarf, dense, deciduous shrub growing 3' tall by 4' wide. Foliage is dark green, changing to red-purple in fall. Pink buds and flowers fade to pinkish white. Sporadically opening late fall, the fragrant flowers make a slight show which then really become outstanding in early spring. Frost damage can occur once flowers have emerged.
