Comments: A deciduous, multi-stemmed, erect shrub, 6' tall by 3-4' wide. Young shoots light brown and downy, older stems gray. Leaves opposite, glossy dark green, 2-5" long . Flowers open in May as white, 2-4" wide cymes. Flowers give way to 1/4" wide red fruits. Fall color may be a handsome combination of orange and red.
