Comments: A native, handsome, dense, deciduous shrub, 3-9' tall. New foliage emerges purplish, summer color is glossy dark green with orange, red to purple in the fall. Showy, creamy white flower clusters occur in May/June and are followed by beautiful fruit with color that changes from green to pink to red to blue before finally turning black in September (or all colors at one time!).
