Comments: A medium-sized, multi-stemmed, deciduous shrub growing to around 6' tall and wide. Introduced by the late Father J .Fiala, a longtime lilac breeder, in 1979. This selection sports semi-double flowers on 8-10" long panicles, variously colored rose to pink and violet (May). A fine selection bred for resistance to powdery mildew and compact stature.
