Comments: A rounded, low-branching, deciduous tree, growing 20-30' tall and wide. Leaves are lustrous above, medium to dark green, 1-3" long. Fruit is a dry drupe 1/2" long. Bell-shaped flowers are white with yellow stamens and have a slight fragrance. Gray-brown bark is smooth with irregular orange-brown fissures; quite attractive. Use as a specimen plant or in the shrub border.
