Family:
Rosaceae (rose family)
Synonym:
Spiraea × bumalda 'KLMtwenty'
Distribution:
Species native to e. Asia
Hardiness:
USDA Zone 4

Comments:
The compact, mound-like habit and consistent burgundy fall foliage color makes this 3' high and 4' wide deciduous shrub a good candidate for the foundation planting or small garden area. Rich purplish pink blooms are produced in large clusters in late spring or early summer. A good heavy pruning first thing in spring every few years encourages fresh growth. Plant in full sun in moist, well-drained soil.
