Comments: This unusual species of spirea is similar to the more common Japanese spirea. It is a small, rounded, deciduous shrub that grows 3' in height and width. Leaves range from 1-3" long. Rose-pink flowers on flat cymes appear in May and June. Fall color is reddish purple. A good filler plant or use as a low mass.
