Comments: A small, deciduous tree to large shrub reaching 15-20' tall and wide. This vigorous shrub adapts well to wet sites and is not pH sensitive. Bright yellow new foliage is 4-12" long and each leaf is composed of 3-7 leaflets. Fruits are shiny black, 1/4" wide, ripening in late summer or early fall. Flowers are yellow-white, in 5-8" wide clusters that open in June.
