Comments: This vigorous, deciduous tree can reach a height of 70' and width of 30'. Dark blue-green, pinnately compound leaves are highlighted with a 4-8" long, dense raceme. Flowers are 4-8" long, appearing in June and again in September, but intermittent bloom throughout summer is possible. Brown-black, flat, 2-4" long fruit pods mature in October and last through winter. Great specimen or garden shade tree. Will survive tough soil conditions in full sun or light shade.
