Comments: When typical azaleas and rhododendrons finish blooming, our native azaleas begin. This deciduous, azalea will grow to about 5' tall and usually narrower. Flowers are white to pink, with a clove-like scent produced in mid-May to June. Leaves are lustrous green in summer with no appreciable fall color. Like other azaleas, it is shallow rooted and appreciates an organic mulch.
