Comments: Part of the "Yaku" series of elepidote (leaves without scales) rhododendron crosses. It can grow 3-4' tall and slightly wider in 10 years. The foliage is indumented and medium-sized. The flowers appear in late May to early June and are purplish pink upon opening and age to a lighter pink with a pale, purplish pink blotch. Use as an accent, mass or specimen planting.
