Comments: This is an elepidote (leaves without scales) rhododendron hybrid growing to 11/2' tall by 2' wide in 7 years. Foliage is dull green and held for 2 years. In early June, deep purplish pink, funnel-shaped flowers with a large copper-colored dorsal blotch are produced in ball trusses. Use as an accent, mass or specimen planting.
