Comments: A beautiful elepidote (leaves without scales) rhododendron hybrid growing to about 5' tall in 10 years. This large, well-shaped, dense shrub has dark shiny foliage. In early June, flowers are white with a golden yellow basal blotch; they open wide giving a star-like effect. Use as an accent, mass or specimen planting.
