A deciduous, flowering, upright-rounded shrub with small leaves (lepidote) growing 4-5' tall and 3-4' wide in 10 years. Lemon-yellow flowers are produced in May and are slightly fragrant. Reported as being a very heavy bloomer. Listed as having good insect and disease resistance. Wonderful in the shrub border or foundation.
