Comments: A rare and choice selection maturing smaller than the species, about 30' tall with rounded crown. Selected for its strongly incised, narrowly lobed dark green leaves. Bark is dark gray and deeply furrowed. Autumn color lacking. Male flowers catkin-like, yellowish green in April. A striking specimen for its summer foliage providing a fine texture in the landscape.
