Comments: A rare, slow-growing form of durmast oak, this deciduous tree may grow 50' or more with a broad rounded habit. Summer foliage is lustrous dark green with long stalked, 4-5" long leaves. Fall color is yellow at best. Fruit is a nut, unstalked, 3/4-1" long, ripening in the fall. A sturdy specimen for large yards.
