Comments: A shrubby species reaching 12-15' tall by 8-10' wide. Fruit is a drooping cluster. Flowers, in June and July, are fleecy white, fragrant clusters. Leaves are bright green in summer, 5" long. Fall color is yellow at best. Rarely found in American gardens. Exhibits attractive, shiny brown, exfoliating bark. Plant in full sun, moist, well-drained soil.
