Comments: This small, 12' multi-branched tree or large shrub has performed well in central Ohio since the early 1940s. Leaves are finely toothed and red upon emerging, later turning deep green above and bluish below. Flowers are white, in loose cylindrical racemes. Fruits are bright red, round, and very attractive to birds. Plant in full sun, well-drained soil.
