Comments: An outstanding hybrid flowering cherry growing 25' high and wide. Flower buds are deep maroon opening late March/early April and last a week or more. Petals are carmine-pink, persistent calyx rose-red and the flower stalks are red. And as if this were not enough, fall color is bronze to orange-red. A winner of the Styer Award from Pennsylvania Horticultural Society. Plant in full sun to light shade in moist but well-drained, rich soil.
