Comments: A compact, globose selection that becomes more open and flat-topped with age. Probable size around 5' tall and wide after 20 years. Maintains a nice tight habit. Needles are 2-5" long and persist for 3 years. Young stems gray to green, soft and flexible. Older wood appears gray to brown and black. No cones reported on this cultivar. Rare in U.S. gardens.
