Comments: A unique form of evergreen conifer with shiny drooping needle clusters and an elegant appearance. This pine is suspected to be a hybrid between Pinus strobus and Pinus wallichiana (Himalayan white pine). The original plant was found in a batch of white pine seedlings at the State of Illinois Tree Nursery, and had grown 22’ tall and 16’ wide after 25 years.
