Comments: Discovered by renowned plantsman Don Shadow, this upright, broad, dwarf evergreen has intensely rich, glossy green needles that's been described as one of the richest greens in the conifer world. Growing 3-6" per year it forms a flat topped mound 3' tall by 5' wide. The center of this spreading plant frequently forms a unique depression often referred to as a 'bird's nest'. Excellent in shrub border or foundation planting.
