Comments: A tall, narrow evergreen tree with ascending branches and very narrow top. One of the most ornamental of all spruces. Needles are short, green above and slightly paler beneath. Cones are 2-31/2" long and purple when young. In the landscape probably will grow to more than 60' tall and 10' wide. Best used as a specimen or in a screen.
