Comments: A densely branched, deciduous shrub that grows 8-10' high and wide. Golden yellow, trumpet-shaped, strongly fragrant flowers occur in a round truss early in May, before leaves emerge. Has fine fall color in shades of crimson, orange and purple. Use in a shrub border or a site where spring color is desired. Plant in moist, well-drained acid soil, in light shade.
