Comments: This rare, slow-growing, deciduous, shade tree will grow about 20' tall and half as wide in 20 years with an oval upright habit. Its attractive star-shaped leaves, with 5-7 lobes, are variegated glossy green and white. In fall the leaves take on rose colored tints. Fruit is 1-1½" in diameter and will stay on for long periods of time. Bark can become furrowed and corky over time for a nice winter effect. A nice specimen tree.
