Comments:
A large, coarse-textured, deciduous shrub that can grow 6-8' tall and wide. Leaves may be as large as 12" across, deeply lobed, resembling an oak leaf. Abundant large, creamy white flower panicles occur on second-year wood in early summer (June/July), up to 12" long or more. Foliage and spent flower panicles turn burgundy in fall.
