Comments:
A relatively new introduction of high merit, this deciduous flowering shrub is upright, spreading and grows 8' high and wide. Thick, coarse, foliage is dark green. Broadly conical and dense flower panicles consist only of creamy white sterile florets in July-August. As the florets mature, they turn a lovely pink before finally drying to a tan color, suitable for dried arrangements. Blooms on new wood so it can be pruned to the ground and flower the same year. Fall color is green with a hint of yellow.
